Product Description Dr. Seuss has been delighting millions with his silly and unusual stories since 1937. Filled with wonderfully rhythmic Seussian rhymes, this book will have your child learning the ABCs in no time. From Aunt Annie's Alligator to a Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz, each letter is accompanied by Dr. Seuss's nonsensical images and words: Camel on the ceiling, Uncle Ubb's umbrella and his underwear, too. Perfect for early readers, even the youngest Dr. Seuss fans will be able to recite text in no time, thanks to the repetitive use of each letter and easy-to-remember rhymes.
Amazon.com Review
BIG R, little r, what begins with R? Rosy's red rhinoceros. R...r...R From Aunt Annie's Alligator to Rosy's red rhinoceros to a Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz, learning the alphabet is bound to be fun with Dr. Seuss. And with this small, sturdy board-book version of his classic ABC book (Dr. Seuss's ABC), even the tiniest tots can indulge in a little alphabetical education. Each letter is featured with Dr. Seuss's unmistakably nonsensical illustrations and text: "Lion with a lollipop," "Camel on the ceiling," "Uncle Ubb's umbrella and his underwear, too." The youngest readers-to-be will get lots of letter practice with the repetitive use of each letter and the easy-to-memorize rhythmic rhymes. Soon your favorite preschooler will be reading this book aloud to you! (Baby to preschool) --Emilie Coulter

Fall in love with alphabets August 29, 2010 Abhishek K. Singh (HATTIESBURG, MS, US) I found this book very helpful in teaching kids alphabets in an interesting way. My daughter loves it. Very creative book. I would recommend.
Fiffer Feffer Feff? August 13, 2010 MasterAP (Maryland, USA) Who isn't a fan of Dr. Seuss? We aren't talking about the live-action movies but the books full of bizarre rhyming and rhythm.
The good doctor is in full swing with ABC: An Amazing Alphabet Book.
Each letter begins with the same cadence: "Big A, little a, what begins with a?" followed by some goofy wordsmithing: "Aunt Annie's Alligator".
My son enjoys looking at the pictures and hearing me go through the cadence.
My older niece, however, got into the recitation and knew what was coming next so that by the time I was on G, she said with me, "Big G, little g, what begins with g?"
Your kids will enjoy the colorful pictures of the Seussian creatures and giggle at things like the "fiffer feffer feff".
Dr. Seuss all the way for my boy!
My children always loved this book July 29, 2010 My children always loved this book. What a great way to teach toddlers the alphabet.
love love love this book July 22, 2010 Ark angel (jamaica) My son got this book when he was 3 months old, and now he is 10 months. We read it everyday, and he loves it everyday. It is one of the few things that can keep him quiet. He loves the rhymes...especially the "pfiffer, pfeffer, pfeff" (I probably spelt them wrong), and loves to look at the pictures. The book is small enough for him to hold and turn the pages while I read. Each page has bright coloured images that keep him turning.
The book is also quite sturdy, and has stood up to his abuse and chewing. Many other board books have failed the test...they have bent and the pages have peeled off...but his alphabet book is going strong.
It's his first dr. seuss book and now I am getting some more and hoping he will love them too.
Cute book! June 28, 2010 Tiffany C. Threatt (South Carolina) This is one of several books I bought for my niece on her 1st birthday. A year later she still loves these books.
